Vocabulary Essay

Your vocabulary essay is due first thing Thursday!  Be ready to present.

Nov 15

If students dress up in church type clothes, they will get 15 extra credit points on Nov. 15.  We will be doing a mock debate.

November 7

Grades have been posted for 1-5 in your gratitude journals.  If you forgot to turn it in, you received a 0 and will need to see me during homeroom on Thursday.  Have a good evening.

Tuesday

Don't forget, you will have a sub on Tuesday!  Be on your best behavior.

Calling all supporters of Teens:

During the month of November, your student will be participating in Project Gratitude. This is a journaling exercise that emphasizes having a positive outlook. Your student has created a personal journal in class and is writing everyday about things they are thankful for. When you continuously express things you are grateful for, it trains your brain to begin focusing on things you like about yourself.

We are asking you to write a letter about your student describing all of the things you like about them. A special envelope will hold your letter in their journal.
