Students who plan on attending Silver Dollar City in May, need to have 8 community service hours by May 5.  Each student should be told by their homeroom teacher by  Friday regarding how many hours they have since the beginning of the school year.  If your child is in my 6th hour (which is my homeroom kids, too), it has been recorded on Powerschool.  It is not an actual grade but I wanted the students to be aware of this.

Update from administrators:

With school cancelled for today, we have rescheduled conferences for Tuesday.  If you were scheduled to attend this evening, you will now attend tomorrow evening if possible.  If not, please note our other conference times for this week.  Thank you.

Student Led Conferences

If you discuss an AR book that you have read this year with your parents, I will give you 5 extra credit points.  Make sure you write the name of the book on a piece of paper and have your parents sign it stating you told them about the AR book!  Happy talking!
